My experience designing the user interface for an app that aims to solves picky eating problems in children and introduce them to new cultures through food
Knapsack is an app for parents to aid them in helping their children with picky eating by making trying new foods a fun experience and simultaneously teach them about the differences in cultures across the world. Knapsack needed a designer to assist with a new brand direction that would both excite their users about trying new experiences and evoke authority when it comes to culture and food.

Imagine you are a parent at your wit’s end trying to get your picky eater to eat new foods, but don’t have a good collection of different foods to try with them. Knapsack attempts to solve that by getting kids involved with new experiences, simultaneously introducing them to new cultures and new people. It gamifies the process to encourage them to keep trying foods from different cultures.
